Global commerce technology company receives its Grant of Appointment for The King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade at South Hill Park, ten years after being founded in Bracknell.
BRACKNELL, Berkshire – 1 October 2026
AyataCommerce has been formally presented with The King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade, just weeks before the Bracknell-founded technology company celebrates its 10th anniversary.
The company received its Grant of Appointment and commemorative award from His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire, Mr Andrew Try, at a ceremony held at South Hill Park in Bracknell.
The event brought together members of the AyataCommerce team alongside representatives from the local council and Berkshire business community.

The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the UK’s most prestigious business awards. AyataCommerce is one of 185 UK businesses recognised in 2026, marking the 60th anniversary of the awards.
For AyataCommerce, the recognition comes at an important point in its journey.
The self-funded business was founded in Bracknell in 2016 by Shine Mathew and has grown from its Berkshire roots into an international technology company supporting enterprise retailers and brands across Europe, the Middle East and North America.
Today, AyataCommerce has more than 150 colleagues worldwide, with a significant part of its team based in India and the UK, particularly Berkshire, alongside teams in Hungary and Dubai.
The company works with major international retailers and brands, helping them modernise commerce and order management through AI-powered technology, composable architecture and systems integration.
The King’s Award specifically recognises AyataCommerce for Outstanding Short-Term Growth in International Trade, reflecting strong year-on-year international growth over the three most recent financial years.
Shine Mathew, Founder and CEO of AyataCommerce, said:

“Receiving The King’s Award for Enterprise is a very proud moment for all of us at AyataCommerce, particularly as we approach ten years since we started the business here in Bracknell.
When I look back at that journey, what makes me most proud is the team we have built and the trust our customers and partners have placed in us. We have colleagues across the world, but Berkshire remains our home and where our story started.
We are also incredibly proud to be recognised for the contribution we are making to the UK’s international trade and technology sector while building a global business from the UK.
This award belongs to everyone who has been part of our journey over the last ten years. It gives us confidence and ambition for what we can build together over the next ten.”
Mr Andrew Try, His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire, said:
“As His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant for the Royal County of Berkshire I bring his good wishes and congratulations.
Running a business is not for the faint hearted, it takes resilience, courage and innovation to create and grow a business such as yours over the last 10 years, and you should all be extraordinarily proud of what you have achieved. The fact that you have done this not just in the UK, but extensively overseas is even more impressive, congratulations.”
AyataCommerce will celebrate its 10th anniversary on 27 October 2026.
